Lunch in Farmington, CT tomorrow
My husband and I will be visiting Hill-Stead Museum and Gardens in Farmington, CT tomorrow and would like to have lunch somewhere good and local - not a chain, casual rather than upscale..
We're open to all food types but we particularly like seafood. Thanks.

Other suggestions: Flaggstead BBQ on Route 4 in Farmington (close to the museum). J. Timothy's in Plainville, Max a Mia on route 44 for italian.
enjoy!

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I'll remember them for next time in Farmington, CT.
When I start a thread asking for suggestions, I like to revisit the thread and give my feedback on where we chose to eat; but it wasn't in Farmington after all.
We ended up having eaten such a big breakfast that we weren't hungry until we were well on the road home to NYC.
We stopped to eat at Riverview Bistro in Stratford, CT. We sat at a table on the patio with a lovely view of the river and had a very nice meal.
I had the ahi tuna on ciabatta (nicely done, medium rare) and my husband had the Catch Three (shrimp, calamari, scallops).
Service, food, view all were excellent.
Thanks again for the responses and suggestions.
