Next Door Lounge in Hollywood?

I've been thinking about having some events here and would like to know what people's experience has been there?

I am thinking that this might even work for my birthday gathering this Saturday...and that I might want to let my guests know about the LivingSocial spend $10/get $10 voucher deal that is going on right now.

Love the vibe.

Low(er) key, pretty comfy, a dozen draft beers to go with cocktails. The food is from The Corner, so that's up for you to decide, but generally, even on Saturday, it's calmer, more sociable.

Cocktails were solid, but it's been a few months since I've last visited. It's like Hollywood's Edison, and probably my fave locale in the vicinities.

ditto to what TonyC said. the space is perfectly dim, open, and comfy. black and white movie playing on a projector screen, flapper girl uniforms and vintage 1920s for bartenders. the owner/management is courteous so coordinating your events should be smooth.
