Chopped Grill Masters (Part 2)

Did anyone watch this episode?

3 guys and one girl ... and the one girl was on the show because she was (wait for it) trying to find a husband!

Is there a thread for the first one? (I'm just getting caught up via On Demand). I thought in the first one that I agreed with the somewhat annoying, smug guy who got cut last-- they made the wrong decision.

You were expecting more from FN? Really!

Chopped, though, is the exception that proves the rule. It is usually quite good. Frankly the show was fine, I ound the 'I need a man' thing a bit over the top, but as I noted, she could cook.

So they over played this 'getting a man' bit? She made it to the dessert round. Any thoughts about the cooking? Was it obvious from the start that Sam was going to win?

She was ok, the 'I'm a cowgirl looking for a man' thing was a bit much, but she could cook. Sam was the best, as far as I could tell, by a long way. Finally, what was the deal on the first guy with the raw shrimp head as a garnish....

God, that "I want me a man" thing was beyond annoying. This is Chopped, not The Bachelorette

          HATE that mindset anyway.

I just wanted to yell at her "stop already!"

How does being on Chopped get you a man anyway?

Is it that old saw about "the way to a man's heart?"
                15 minutes of fame?

                  Unfortunately, I think so.
