Marin Farmers Mkt, Sun 7/29

Fog burned off, sun came out, parking lots filled. But worth the circling to find spot and see what was here this week that was not there the week before:
Early Girl tomatoes, not early this year, now found at larger than golf ball size;
fabulous Suncrest peaches finally(!);
Romano beans from Iacoppi--also late (Iacoppi still feeling effects of late spring heavy rains which came right after planting/plowing);
Padron and Shishito peppers.
Still there in plentitude and still fine: salmon roasts from Mission Fish ($11.95 per lb) and the best sweet corn in ages from the Brentwood "picked this morning" vendor (5 ears for $4).
And many happy people...
