Where do the locals eat at Kure Beach (Victory Beach area)?

Me and my family are heading to Kure beach for the first time here soon, and i'm looking for some places we should eat! Food is half the fun of travel to me, so i gotta know where to find choice meals. I want places that we can eat FRESH, LOCAL stuff. Price isn't too much of an issue, the places we usually eat at on vacation are 20 to 25 bucks per person. Thanks for the help!

Unfortunately, I don't think you're going to find much in the way of good eating in Kure Beach itself. Carolina Beach has some decent options, though nothing great. Gulfstream, Harbor Masters and Shuckin Shack Oyster Bar are decent. To get really great food, you have to either take the ferry to Southport, or drive to Wilmington.

Here is an existing post about Wilmington that includes not only my suggestions, but others as well.:

I will edit my post on there to say that, unfortunately, Crow Hill has closed.

If you look at the top right hand corner of this page, you'll see a "search" box. Type Wilmington in it and you'll find several other existing posts that will give you some ideas. There are also some exiting posts for CB, but I can't seem to make them come up...you might want to see if you can.
