Outstanding Cold Tomato Soup at Obika

Nice texture: not too chunky, not too runny, kind of like a well-made gazpacho. It has olive oil drizzled over the top and whole basil leaves alongside in the same bowl. In a separate small bowl, you get some of their heavenly creamy burrata and very crisp croutons are also served alongside in another bowl.

This is a delightful summer dish.

Killer DineLA lunch deal. Perfect for those stuck at Cedar Sinai for whatever reason.

That's 1 darn good soup. It really is all about the salads and burrata here.

one of last years dineLA specials, their lasagnetta, was, imho, superb.
the best version of that dish that i've ever had.

My friend and I went last year for their lunch during DineLA. I ordered the soup and thought it was fantastic. I especially loved the fact that they added the burrata and croutons. In fact, we loved everything we had. Service was great, too!

Thanks for the tip. I really like the salmon paninis, but some of the other stuff is just so so.
