Where to Eat? White & Green Mountains

Hi Folks,

Staying in Lancaster, NH for 3 nights around the middle of August. I'm looking for some budget friendly places to eat in the area. Our family hasn't spent much time this far up north in a while so any recommendation would be very appreciated. Also, since we'll be so close to VT suggestions for places out thataway's are welcomed too.

    Hope it's not too late!!
    Lancaster places to eat:
Puleo's (on main street) - ok - caters mainly to the elderly and tourists. typical american food.
Sullivan's (located in the cabot motor inn) - pretty decent american type food. Has veggie options.
Scorpio's (on main street) - popular with the locals, is a pizza/ sports bar. Unimpressive.
    All above decently priced.
Best off getting out of town!!
Whitefield - 3 kings pub - (located in basement of spaulding inn) - american pub food - good atmoshere.
Littleton - italian oasis - wide variety of foods - italian, burgers, brews beer on site
alburritos - 'mexican' - uses local products which is cool. have to ask specifically for hot sauce etc.
Chang thai - excellent variety given the area

    good luck!
