Returning to New York

I am coming back to New York after a hiatus of several years and have compiled my Chowhound list. Any opinions of some of the places that I have enjoyed in the past, iTrulli, Gotham Bar and Grill, Nice Matin, Chola and Pings in Chinatown? Any downgrading? I especially loved the rabbit at iTrulli. Does E. 6th St. still have all the South Asian restaurants?

Answer on 6th St.: No, not close, and there are various non-Indian restaurants on that block. There's one worthwhile Indian restaurant I've tried on that block, though I'm not sure it's a destination restaurant: Banjara, right on the corner of 1st Av.
