Chez Boris

Has anyone been to Chez Boris yet? It's a donut cafe in Mile End that's opened recently and I'm curious to hear if it's just a gimmick (the new cupcake) or if it's actually delicious.

I have visited once - it was nice, but I must admit I was expecting something more. The doughnuts are freshly cooked but they are not quite as yeasty as I thought they would be. Still, I like the guys' enthusiasm and when I was there (a Saturday afternoon) there were lots of people enjoying the space - I hope they do well!

It`s fantastic. The staff is friendly, the menu is simple but very tasty, and the environment is laid-back. Try the beignewiches. The donuts by themselves are also great.
