August 2012 Toronto Dish of the Month: Voting Thread

Here are the top nominations for the first Toronto Dish of the Month...basically I took only the dishes that were mentioned by more than one person. Here are the choices in alphabetical order:

GAZPACHO

GELATO

MARGHERITA PIZZA

If people feel strongly about other dishes that I haven't included, they are welcome to do write-in votes as well.

The voting thread will be open until 9 AM PST on July 31st, and each user can only vote once. To vote, write your favorite in ALL CAPS as a reply to this thread - votes that are non in caps won't be counted. The voting is open to everyone, regardless of whether you participated in the nomination thread.

On July 31st we'll create the main Dish of the Month thread and get started!

MARGHERITA PIZZA -- there are a few places around me that serve it, and I think it'd be fun to spend August doing a comprehensive survey of Junction / Bloor West / Roncey Margherita pizzas.

There's also an option to do write in votes, so I just wanted to check to make sure that's not what you were doing. Unless you say otherwise, your vote will be counted toward Margherita Pizza.
