50th birthday celebration - Mardi Gras theme

Hello,

I"m planning a 50th birthday party with a Mardi Gras theme and am looking for someplace to cater "authentic" New Orleans food (from apps to dessert). Don't care if need to use multiple vendors.

Any sugestions?

Thanks

    Maybe Brothers Crawfish in Dorchester?

East coast Grill caters and given their spirit, i bet they do mardi gras type events. Hungry Mother and Abigail's, in addition to Tupelo, are Southern oriented too.

Maybe Tupelo in Cambridge. They're more Southern fusion (if that's an actual category), but the food's good. Don't think they cater per se, but there's a lot of underemployed talent at the moment so you might be able to score a renegade caterer to do the whole thing.

I assume you're thinking crawfish, gumbo, jambalaya, catfish, beignets, king cake etc.? I think you're going to have a hard time getting all of that from one caterer.
