Husbands 40th Bday but Child Friendly Restaurants

It's my husbands 40th and I wanted something good but somewhere I won't be disturbing anyone since I have 2 toddlers. Willing to eat early too to beat crowds and not to bother anyone - 6ish? We are staying downtown in Financial District.

Mercatto on Bay has good food, and due to the acoustics of the room, gets very noisy. I've seen families in there on Saturday evenings at that time, when they have been otherwise empty. They will be busier tonight, but again, so noisy that I don't think the toddlers would bug anyone. They have pizza too :)

Hope you enjoy it! I find the desserts quite good for an Italian place too. I haven't had dessert recently but last summer they had a salty caramel/peanut sundae that was great, like an upscale peanut buster parfait.

Maybe have a look at the one on Toronto Street as well. Same resto but I like the that location better.
