The new Ovaltine formula
I was distraught when I bought Ovaltine the other day. It is now a fine powder instead of the granules.
I used to sprinkle them on ice cream and sometimes even eat them by themselves. I enjoyed getting a tablespoon full, then dipping it just under the milk, having it turn brown, but still have a pocket of luscious powder inside.
The new kind is disgusting in my opinion, what is yours.
There are many versions of Ovaltine worldwide. The original was made in Switzerland. I was exposed to the British version growing up in Hong Kong. I much prefer the British version which is available in most Asian and Chinese markets in the US. The British version has always been powdery, not with the granules. I find the US version to be inferior to the British version, just a personal opinion.
