August 2012 Home Cooking Dish of the Month: Voting Thread

I'm very excited to announce the nominees for the very first Home Cooking Dish of the Month. There were lots of great ideas, with no clear standouts, so I've narrowed it down to the top seven. All of these received at least four nominations. Here they are, in alphabetical order:

CAPONATA

CEVICHE

CRAB/FISH CAKES

FISH TACOS

PESTO

QUINOA SALAD

RATATOUILLE

The voting thread will be open until 4 PM PST on July 30th, and each user can only vote once. To vote, write your favorite in ALL CAPS as a reply to this thread - votes that are non in caps won't be counted. The voting is open to everyone, regardless of whether you participated in the nomination thread.

On July 31st we'll create the main Dish of the Month thread and get started! By that point, it will already be August in Australia, so it will be time to start!!
