Can a pizza stone be left on the floor of the ovenwhen you are using the self cleaning feature?
You could damage the oven, but probably not the stone (assuming its a decent stone). Many ovens recommend not putting anything on the floor. I'd leave it on a rack.
My pizza stone has survived the self-clean cycle three times.
I don't know of one that can't, but I'd still check the manual to make sure it's OK. My baking stone never leaves the oven.
