Mitch's Sushi for late weekday lunch

Plan to be in the area on a Monday getting my car worked on. While waiting I plan to have a late lunch about 2:00 in the afternoon. I'm not really sure if I want to splurge for a sushi set so I'm not going to make a reservation. I might just go to Nimitz BBQ for their bi bim bop. Does Mitch's accept walk in customers and will it be crowded?

Always best to call them if your going there. Arriving without a Resy is never a good idea , busy or not.

We walked in when they opened and were seated no problem. Excellent sushi
