dried herbs in los angeles--preferably sgv area

i'm in search of some dried herbs--chief among them skullcap. also need yarrow, chamomile and elderflower. (no incantations planned--just some sort of calming hippie tea for my son) this won't be a job for penzey's, and i know i could just order online, but i'd love to know of a source where we could go on a field trip and pick these up. lord knows what other groovy stuff we might find at such a place... tia!

This isn't SGV, but the only place I know of in the LA area for dried herbs is Herb Products Co - they were on Magnolia in North Hollywood for about 30 years, but moved to Sun Valley in 2009:

i'm a little leery of taking a photo into an asian or hispanic herbery. so many plants look alike, and i don't want to get more than i bargained for. (mushrooms being a good example--a few folks lose their livers each year, mistaking this mushroom for that one!)

They definitely know their stuff there, I'll give them that. It's one of the things I don't like about them actually - they have you fill out a list of things you want and they go get them for you, so there's no browsing and sniffing through old jars for me... =)
