Ground Chuck vs Ground Neck & Skirt

I keep on seeing these alternate in stores for hamburger patties and family pack specials in general.

So I ask which is best for:

1)Hamburgers
2)Meatballs
3)Meatloaf
4)Sloppy Joe

P.S. I hope I can ask this during the nine days :)

we used to get those prepacked burgers in the white boxes that were neck and skirt, and i was always kinda shocked by how good they were , specially given how lean they were

but id agree that the lack of fat in itself makes it maybe a bad idea for sloppy joes

Of course you can ask during the nine days, you just might not be able to buy it.

Ground chuck is fatty, usually 80% lean and is best used for grilling/broiling where the fat can run off #1

Neck and skirt is not only leaner, but sweeter/tastier (my favorite chopmeat)
Great for meatballs and meatloaf or hamburgers made in a frying pan.

For chili, or meat sauce, we often use ground chuck, but cook the ground beef first in the frying pan, then drain completely in a collander and then incorporate into the meat sauce or chili.
