Aniata is located in the Flower Hill mall which is just off the I-5 at Via de la Valle. It's on the East side of I-5, and on the North side of Via de la Valle, there is a stoplight where you need to turn. The store itself is on the lower level next door to Tony Roma's. Aniata has wonderful cheeses include artisial from both CA and NY. They have a pretty good selection - I've also found buffalo mozzarella, Cowgirl Creamery and Humboldt Fog there. Whole Foods in either La Jolla or Hillcrest have pretty big selections, also. There are several Costco warehouses in your area. You have to be a member, of course, and you have to be willing to buy a fairly large hunk of cheese (a pound or more, probably).
