Places on my must-try list...feel free to critique

Basically I'm in the mood for down-n-dirty, cheap ethnic food with a couple wild cards thrown in. Here's my hit list. Any must-adds? We like everything, except Mr. Swank is no sushi fan. Love curries, spicy sauces, odd seafood.

Taqueria Jalisco, East Boston
Rino's, East Boston
Pongal, Billerica
Dosa Temple, Somerville
Bon Chon's Harvard Sq. branch
Tip Tap Room (not really down n dirty, but I am curious!), B Hill
Shojo, Chinatown
Punjabi Tadka, Arlington Ctr
Daily Catch, Brookline branch

Yum!

Recent finds include Tenoch in Medford (killer tortas) and Beantown Taqueria, which is actually quite authentic despite the lame name.

A few more I'd add to the list:
    Dok Bua in Brookline
    India Quality in Kenmore Square
Hong Kong Eatery in Chinatown (a second vote!)
    Topacio in East Boston
    Wang's in Somerville
    Sapporo Ramen in Cambridge
    Dosa Factory in Cambridge

Swank, I know you've been around the traps for a long time, so forgive me if I'm recommending places you already frequent:

      Tampopo, Porter Square
      Punjabi Dhaba, Inman Square
Hong Kong Eatery, Chinatown (esp. the bbq meat soups)
The Korean stall opposite the Chinese bbq stall, Super 88 food court, Allston (ok-dol bi bim bap FTW)

Also, you specify Bon Chon in Harvard Sq. Is that one notably better than the Allston one, or is it just your local?

I can heartily endorse your first five. Tip Tap maybe needs some time to mature. Shojo just opened a day or two ago. Don't know Tadka. Would urge you to the North End original of the Daily Catch; the other two outlets always disappoint me by comparison. Note it's cash-only and has no restroom.

Given the range of foods on your list, why is it qualified as "ethnic"? (Personally, for me, a good hot dog is as ethnic as it gets.)
