Has anyone been to the foundry's crawfish boil?? It's on sundays and includes jambalaya and hurricanes.
On a side note, has anyone tried the ayce fried chicken @a-frame?? TIA!!

re: Hershey Bomar
re: the food
crawfish was overcooked and over-salted.
jambalaya showed no evidence of any seafood content. the only discernible tastes were rice, seasonings (mostly salt), sausage, pork. if there was any chicken or seafood content, it was not noticeable.the best item of the food they served were the tiny sections of sweet corn that were served with a spicy broth.
even though the online menu said they'd be serving okra, there was no okra.also, if you are going to serve a meal on paper plates with plastic utensils that your guests will be consuming while standing up, it would be nice if the tables (all of which are communal) were the proper height (i.e. tall enough) for stand-up-eating.
maybe i'm spoiled about music, but wasn't impressed with the music either.
i mean, obviously, i knew that they weren't going to be having BeauSoleil playing, but, imho, this just didn't cut it even for free music at a restaurant.

it was ok.
far from bad, but also, far from being a destination.›4 Replies -
