I have narrowed my selections to the following:

Delfina
Absinthe
Gitane
Boulevard

Which one do you think i should go to?

Background:

I have dinner with 4 other friends all male. We are looking for a European vibe, Mediterraean/European food. i.e. French or Italian

Fun and lively...upscale

Nothing stuffy

Great food...

I am open to other suggestions too.. thanks!!

I would lean towards Gitane. It seems the best blend of upscale and lively of the bunch, and the food's great there.

Consider Cotogna. Excellent Italian food, lively, non-stuffy. Search for it to read reviews here: it is well-liked among the Chowhound community, and for good reason.
