Tartine's Bread Pudding

I would like to make Tartine's bread pudding, but I will need to freeze it. Has anyone made this recipe and frozen it successfully? How did it re-heat?

Sorry, I should mention that it is the sweet (brioche) bread pudding. I think they have a savory version but I am planning on making the sweet one.
