Has anyone been to The Melting Pot in Darien, CT?
A group of us have wanted to go for a while and were wondering how it is? How does it work? Is it per person fondue or do you order individually? Thanks, Richie
Went about 6 years ago and would never go back. I left there so upset at the cost of food compared to the product / service we received. For 4 people we paid over $30+ to dip average food into average cheese/sauces. (To be fair, a couple bottles of wine added to the cost, but the "food" probably averaged out to $50 per person).
My kid could make this at home in 10 minutes.
Maybe i just don't get the fondu thing - - - especially when dining out where I want a chef to cook for me and a waitstaff to serve me. If it were me, I would save your money and get something much better.
