White Plains isn't too far. I have not been there yet this year but they have had decent vendors in the past. Just steer clear of Westchester Greenhouses.
You're welcome, the really nice Amish gentleman had wonderful cantaloupes last year. I could ask him to pick a melon for me that would be ripe/ready on a specific day of the week and he was always on the money.
