Vietnamese Cookbook

I was looking for something along the lines of Rick Bayless's "Authentic Mexican" or David Thompson's "Thai Food", but for Vietnamese cooking. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Andrea Nguyen's "Into the Vietnamese Kitchen: Treasured Foodways, Modern Flavors" is a well put together cookbook, with very doable recipes.

I saw a great cookbook in Hoi An that one of the restaurants/ cooking schools puts out. The restaurant had some of the best food we ate in Vietnam and the cookbook is beautiful and really goes into details about the ingredients and techniques and culture. It's called Taste Vietnam- the Morning Glory cookbook

I have not come across any as "refrency" (made up word) as Rick and Deann Bayless's "Authentic Mexican" .
I do like Mai Pham's "Pleasures of the Vietnamese Table" and Nicole Routhier's "The Foods of Vietnam"

Oh yeah, Not strictly Vietnamese "Hot Sour Salty Sweet" by Jeffrey Alford & Naomi Duguid
Has great boldly flavored recipes from the Mekong River and Delta in general and beautiful photographs
