I bought eggs from their farm a few times in the past. but sadly the economics didn't work out for the Koefoeds.

We were part of their CSA for a while but then farmers market vendors like Riverdog started selling chickens and eggs that were just as good so we quit.

they literally put all their eggs in one basket. in hindsight, the koefoeds said they would have diversified. i.e do some plantings or something in the winter to generate income.

now high corn costs (from heat wave) makes their economic model untenable.
