British Open?

Anyone know of restaurants or bars in the SF Bay area that open early (or stay open late) where you can watch the british open live?

You could try the restaurant-bar at the Harding Park golf course. I don't know exactly what time it opens, but I guess it should open by 8:00am or so. Worst case you might have to stand in the pro shop and watch it on the TV there for a little while. The pro shop opens at 6:30am.
