Good ready-to-use laksa base ?
I often use Prima Taste and Tean curry laksa paste...avoid Yeos and Asian Home Gourmet. Almost any base can be improved with addition of fresh herbs and spices. I often augment with laksa leaf (rau ram at Vietnamese stores), lemongrass, galangal, shallots, and fresh ground coriander. Lemongrass etc freeze very well. Bonus points if you have a chunk of belacan handy as well.
