What is else is there, similar to The Dutch, Roberta's, Prune and so on?
Hi,
For someone who's spending the next 10 days in NYC, what is there to be seen?
I have no intention going to places that aspire to be Michelin-starred, but to restaurants that have good food, are "hotspots" and have a nice atmosphere, the kind of "cool" one.
I know, I'll probably have some bad luck, since hype and bad service walk along more than everyone would hope so.

Hottest places in Manhattan right now are The NoMad, Atera and ACME.
Hot places that are seen as 'cool' though I think have a kinda douchey crowd are: STK and Catch.
Beauty and Essex sceney too,

Don't know what you are looking for then. The places I named are cool and hot and not rooftops (Though The NoMad does have a separate rooftop experience.)
Prune is far from cool or a hotspot. And if you don't want a hotel then The Breslin and John Dory are out. Maybe Spotted Pig.
Sounds like you might like Brooklyn - mostly Williamsburg or Carroll Gardens. Post on the outerboroughs board for that.
