Los Panchos [San Francisco] - La Lengua Chronicles Part 15
Date Dined: 6/29/12
I ended up getting takeout from Los Panchos with a few friends, and we brought the food to El Rio. Everything is made to order, which meant it took a while for our food to be ready, but I really liked it. Service was also really friendly.
The fish ceviche tostada was really good - it was a non-tomatoey version, which I prefer, with tender pieces of fish with lime and cilantro, along with avocado. Friends tried various types of pupusas, which were big and freshly made. I didn't think the pupusas were noticeably different from other places around (like El Zocalo, for example) but I'd return for them.
