Montreal West-of-Lachine-ish steak place?

Looking for a good steak on the west side of town, doesn't have to be just a steak place, seafood also welcome. Not too fancy, but chains or semi-pubs also considered.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks anyway. Looking for a tad more upscale and better decor than that.
I hear it really is a good spot for beef though.

I like the sound of that one. "Saveur". I hear 40 West is rather pricey. Good but pricey.

Marlowe's on St Jean Blvd. Any good?

Does anyone know anything about the Firegrill on Cote Vertu?

Was there last week. Although did not order steak, ribs were just ok, burger same (was told they don't cook burgers medium but it came medium-ish as we ordered "as close to medium as possible"). Onion rings were meh & for $8.50, not worth it. Asked about their grilled salmon only to be told it was previously frozen. Overall, not terribly impressed & will not return.

Pretty sure they were $8.50 & their "zesty" sauce seemed to be mayo with some tabasco. Was not impressed.

was it onion rings or a blooming onion?

Sorry to disapoint (but I surely was). These were rings, some quite tiny, some decent sized but breading was (too) thick batter for my liking. They were not suggy but they didn't really have a great crispy crunch either.

Expensive and simple fare for the price.

I'd much rather go to Baton Rouge on St-Jean if staying on the WI than Firegrill

Steak and Frites in Kirkland. They have a lovely outdoor terrace, indoors is also nice ambiance. Had steak for lunch excellent.

Madison's has steak on the menu and as well burgers and roast beef au jus. I often have roast beef at Madison's always good and reasonable in price. Two locations, Marche de l'ouest and in Kirkland.
