Unashamedly exploiting MasterChef's late-season popularity it has ruled the ratings since Channel 9's The Block ended Ten's All Stars line-up is no mere case of reheated leftovers.

It will include 12 contestants from previous seasons: season one's Justine Schofield, Poh Ling Yeow, Chris Badenoch and Julie Goodwin; season two's Aaron Harvie, Jonathan not Jonathon, Lynda Daddia, Marion Grasby and Callum Hann; and season three's Kumar Pereira, Dani Venn, Hayden Quinn and Kate Bracks, will compete first in teams, then individually as the numbers thin, to find the first MasterChef All Star.
