Dinner Near Punchline

I am drawing a complete blank here, have friends coming in from the Peninsula and they want to do a nice dinner before a show at the Punchline. They have kids so it is an adult night out and I want them to be able to park once so we can walk from dinner to the show. Looking for something fun with great food since they don’t get out much. Any suggestions?

    R & G Lounge in Chinatown for delicious salt and pepper crab. Six minute walk from there to the punchline (0.3 mile).
