I'm the last to know, I guess: No L.A. Eat Real Fest in 2012
I just realized that the Eat Real Fest was this time last year, almost to the day.
So, I checked their web site and just found out that they are only doing Oakland this year, the L.A. event is postponed until Spring 2013.
Anyone else know of a similar festival in L.A. this summer? Something with the variety of food trucks, vendor stalls, demonstrations and the like?
TIA

Yeah, I was sad to hear they won't be doing it this year and that it'll be in glendale! It would have been perfect to take the new Expo line to!!
There is the Street Food Fest. Last year it was pretty chill because it happened on Carmagedeon weekend, so even though the crowds may return, the line up looks great! Sadly it's on a Saturday and can't make it...
LA Weekly has their Pancake Breakfast. Even without Mr. Gold it looks to be a great event. I went last year and it was JUST the right amount of gluttony! We are going again this year and taking the Expo line... :)

LATimes has lowered the price of its Taste Events!! Now they are just $50 each. We are going to the Gold/Kleiman event, mostly because it's the only one we can fit into our schedule (We would LOVE to the Labor Day picnic!)

re: kevin
I always forget about that since it's out of my price point & something my Dad attends everyday courtesy of his Lexus dealer.... They changed the name of it and turned into a multi-day bacchanal...
