ISO Lamb
Does anyone know of a farm in the GTA that will sell a whole lamb to the public. I just want one.
Thanks

Mr. Greek on Danforth is on 801 Danforth Ave (east of pape, west of Jones). I'm fairly sure you can walk in there and pick one up. I don't think it's affiliated with the bad fast food greek place.
edit...just called, they have them "regularly" (as in tomorrow, saturday). something like 4.99 or 5.99 a lb.

If you cant find a farm give Kostas Meat Market a call. They are the go to place for lambs for Greek Easter so they should be able to either point you in the right direction or failing that, sell you a whole lamb.

re: AMarshall
Sanagan's in the Kensington market buys whole lambs for their own shop so I imagine they could order one for you as well. The lamb I've had from them has been excellent.
By the way, they are moving shortly from their very cramped current location to the 4000 square feet space where European Meats used to be.

re: LJS2
If the OP is taking home the whole lamb as is, then Kostas is a fine choice. If you want them to custom cut, their give-a-damn factor is sadly lacking.
Try Best Baa at the St Lawrence Farmers' Market. I've had terrific lamb from them.
