263 Restaurant and Provisions

Has anyone tried this place? It has good reviews on Yelp and I read somewhere a rave about their burger. They're out on Cuernavaca Dr.

To answer my own question, we checked it out tonight. It was okay - nothing to send in the troops for, but fairly solid. The burgers were not a replacement for the dearly departed Cat Mountain, but they weren't bad. They're next door to a convenience store that stocks high end chocolate, gluten free goodies, sandwiches, kombucha tea, and the like.

Part of the appeal for us, I think, is the completely bizarre drive down Cuernavaca, where you can have a $500,000 home next door to a trailer park.

We went soon after it opened and enjoyed the spinach salad and the pulled pork tacos. burger was ok as you mentioned. I think they're still working out their menu as I noticed they added a few more entree type dishes. i hope they do well--it looks like they spent a lot of time and money putting that place together. the provisions side has some great specialty items (i'm obsessed with the spanish olive oil tortas) but they are pretty $$$....

If you're after those Ines Rosales olive oil tortas, they had the sweet olive oil ones at Costco not long ago. They are likely one of those seasonal things, but you might be able to stock up for cheap.
