Ko'olina eats

I might head out there later this week. Does anyone know any good casual lunch spots or okazuya out there or am I better off just picking up stuff in Honolulu before heading out?

One of the three best Thai/Lao restaurants on Oahu, IMO, is located in Kapolei; Thai Lao Rest. There also are some good Filipino places e.g. Thelma's in Waipahu, as well as Poke Stop.

Brick Pizza, Pho Restaurant, Assagio, Tsuruya Noodle House, Denny's, Chili's, Aloha Sushi -- all in Kapolei Town Center. Just Taco's, Hawaiian Grill, Country Store , Roy's -- in Ko Olina (beside restaurants in Aulani, Ihilani, Beach Villas). Lots of choices.

Maile's in Hawaii Kai and Thai Herb Kitchen, though I actually have not managed to eat there in four tries. They don't seem to open when they don't feel like it. THK was recommended to me by Nadine Kam as one of her faves.
