Brewing beer, curing meat, or making cheese?

canned chicken breast (usually next to the canned tuna).

In recent years there are a number of brands. It was only Sweet Sue 20 years ago. Does anyone have any thoughts on which is the better brand for use , in simple picnic style chicken salad, nothing fancy.

Plus one on what bagelman said re. Kirkland/dogs (I do the same for my furry guy). I am more apt to use the canned chicken over pasta (ala tuna) but like a rougher cut in chicken salad, so when I'm cheating, I use "Perdue Done it" and put a rough chop on them.

Tyson has pouch chicken that I think is better than canned for salads; less liquid.

I've never tried any of the other choices beyond "chicken canned like tuna" but here's a link:

Kirkland brand from Costco is passable for chicken salad and a staple on our pantry shelf for feeding the dogs (when I'm unable to grill fresh chicken or we're traveling with them).

We keep Kirkland from Costco for the same reason. Especially if I am making a small batch of chicken salad. Also used it for Chicken Tetrazzini in a pinch.

+1 on Kirkland brand for chicken salad.
