Frequency of significant updates to Bluestar Ranges?

Hi all, I have an opportunity to get a 48" Bluestar RNB floor model at a great price and was wondering if anyone knew the last time a significant revision/update was done. The model was purchased by a local retailer in September 2011 and I want to make sure I will not be missing out on any new updates/fixes. Thanks.

I was asking my rep about oven redesign since they used to have issues with warping hinges and loud banging noises during preheating. The answer I got suggests that 2011 would have the upgrades:

"Yes, the “V1” series ranges has addressed these issues. Hinges, new mechanisms and a redesign of the oven door seal. Oven, new designed oven cavity, less individual panels and seams. Have not heard of these issues with the “V1” series, “V1” series has been on the market now for about 1-1/2 to 2 years."

I should add that I was at a demoa couple weeks ago and it sounds like a new high speed pre-heat is on the horizon if you want to wait a year or two. I wish I could find a 48" floor model :-)

If you are talking about a true price discount, I would take the savings and spend it somewhere else. How much would a minor update be worth to you?
