Birch Hill Tavern - Glastonbury, CT

Someone was kind enough to post the opening of this place on Chowhound a month or two ago, right next to Highland Park Market on Manchester Rd., brought to you by the 2Hopewell guys. I still haven't checked it out but was planning on going this week. I still can't find any info about the place on the web, such as hours, menu, etc. I have found Yelp reviews and that's about it.

I will be meeting up with 2 friends, one of which is picky and the other is *ahem* frugal. I would love to get a peak at the menu options and prices to see if this is an adequate place for this crowd. It seems kind of crazy that in 2012 this kind of information wouldn't be online. I live in the area and am in the parking lot there at least once a week and didn't even realize it existed until I read about it on Chowhound. These people are not doing themselves any favors with their lack of marketing.

Does anyone know where I can view the menu? If not and you have been there, can you give me a rough overview of selection and prices?

Birch Hill ended up losing out on our business. I didn't want to take the risk with the picky eater.

The place is just ok. Wants to be both a family place and a pick up bar. Food is edible but not exciting. Service is on the order of "It's easier to bring the Salt and pepper shakers out when someone asks rather then setting them out. TV's everywhere. Have fun
