pollock fish

Has anyone used pollock fillet? What is your method of cooking this fish.

  1. It is very much like cod so any way you like to make cod will work. A classic method is buttered crumbs (I love to use half crushed ritz cracker and half panko) and lemon juice on top, then bake.

      Thank you. I dipped it in flour, then beaten egg, and then Italian bread crumbs.Then fried it. I do not like to fry in oil so I will try your way next time.

    2. It's quite mild, and we use it like they do at Rubio's: fish tacos. Takes well to the hot salsas.
