I just had the opposite happen. I was looking at some photos on a local historic photo fb page when low and behold I come accross a photo I took, I know this because I am in shadow in the foreground taking the pic. I freaked out because to my knowledge the pic was in my phone and posted to my private fb pg. Then I remembered I had uploaded it to chowhound. The photo was of an iconic restaurant mid demoliton. The offender a regular on my local board. Eww, eww, eww...

I have never tried lifting a photo from Chowhound. I wasn't aware it was as easy to do as it is at other sites. Also the photo in question was set to custom to be viewed only by me on FB.
I think you are missing my point.
I wish the guy would have just said something like " cool photo I'm going to repost it here..."
We live in the same town and it just felt creepy.
