Khao Soi in Minneapolis - Bangkok Thai Deli or elsewhere?
I had amazing Khao Soi last time I was in Minneapolis at Bangkok Thai Deli, and I'd love to have that dish again somewhere. Is it still great there? Or should I be heading elsewhere?
Hoping to eat this tonight, so any recent updates on BTD would be awesome!

I didn't end up getting Thai food at all on Friday...instead went to Tilia, which was great. See http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/859004
It's great to know that BTD is still good....I guess I'll have to wait till my next visit to get Khao Soi!

I was going to try the Khao Soi last night, but it isn't on their current takeout menu, which I think is the same as the in-restaurant menu. The menu at Krungthep is also quite different from what they used to have at BTD, and I think the menus are now the same at both restaurants. Might Khao Soi be known under a different name? Or perhaps they've dropped it off from what seems like a smaller menu?

I haven't been to BTD since the sister left to open On's Thai Kitchen, also in St. Paul. The BTD folks also have a new place in Minneapolis on Nicollet (Eat Street) that I haven't tried. I haven't tried the Khao Soi at any of the spots, but now I see from your last sentence that I am a day too late.
So sorry. I hope you found something delightful, wherever you ended up.
