Rainier Restaurant and BBQ

Not to be a Bourdain hound or anything, but just curious is anyone knows anything about this place that he visited a couple night's back. (http://seattle.eater.com/archives/201...

)

I've passed it a few times, and it popped up on my radar a while back as a place I could get exotic meats (frogs legs), but I hadn't really thought about it.

Anyone been?

    I used to deliver beansprouts and tofu to them for my dad's business in High School. Can't say I've eaten there. But if they are the same owners and nothing has changed then I can at least vouch for them having a clean kitchen, have chinese/vietnamese BBQ (you can order a whole roasted pig from them), along with your typical non-Pho Vietnamese restaurant menu. Something to be said that they have been around for over 15+ years.

      I thought it was odd Tony went there as well.
      For old school funk why not Tai Tung?
      Too bad the fish died at Kau Kau, that would have been something Tony would have dug.
