Dinner in Topeka?

Any recommendations for a nice, but not high-end expensive dinner in Topeka? A place that has good food, some interesting wines and good service? Perhaps where locals go? Thanks!

I think Globe Indian is quite good, especially the Biryani and their Onion Pakoras. I also think it's better than India Palace in Lawrence. If you are willing to go to Lawrence, and you want good wine and good service I suggest 715 or Pachamamas. Both are solid. 715 does all their charcuterie in house, and i have yet to have a mediocre meal there. Pachamama's is a little more upscale and has an amazing wine list.

I kinda hate to say it, but I think your answer is "Lawrence, KS". It's only a half hour to Mass St. (downtown) Lawrence and there are quite a few restaurants like that there, not so much in slowtown.
