Private room for 20 person biz dinner in center city?

Helping a West Coast friend pick a restaurant for a business dinner in center city for 20 people. Someplace with a private room and great food. The few places that came to mind were Chifa, Morimoto, Osteria, or one of the steakhouses. Any other ideas? Or has anyone had a good private event experience at any of these places? Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. You've been very helpful. I've passed the info on to my friend. I will let you know what she decides to do.

We had an excellent celebration dinner for 22 people at Capital Grille. Private room, wonderful service, and everyone loved the food. Menu had a few options for appetizer, entree and dessert - entrees included filet, poultry, salmon, and something vegetarian. Top notch.

Thanks, sylviag! The Capital Grille is great, but I've never been there for a private event. It's good to hear that they do such a good job. I'll pass on the info to my friend.

Osteria and Morimoto are top notch. I am not fond of the Morimoto private dining rooms as they are in the basement (no windows). Amada has a room that accomadates up to 24. And for a spectacular view in semi private dining, consider LaCroix in the Rittenhouse Hotel.

But I will strongly second sylvia's experience. I have hosted at the Capital Grille before for clients and it is top notch, from planning to the curb side valet service, the sommelier, and the waiters. Food is not the most exciting but quality is top notch.

I will second Lacroix, I've hosted a private lunch there and it was outstanding.

I'm sure Osteria would be great, but depending on where you're starting, it might be a few cabs to get everyone here.

Also agree with Lacroix. They were very accommodating for our various diets as well. We had 12 and it was a wonderful experience.

My only comment about LaCroix is that the given size of the OP party exceeds the capacity of the smallest room, and that the party could be accommodated only in the semi private room.
