Madrid near Prado
My wife and I are staying in Madrid near the Prado museum for 3 nights in July. We are vegetarians (no meat or fish but dairy is ok). I have done a little research and we will go to the san miguel market as well as the La latina area for a tapas crawl. Any specific suggestions for restaurants we should go to? Preferably walking distance from the hotel, but metro or short taxi ride is ok.
As a reference we enjoyed the options at El Xampanyet and Quimet i Quimet in Barcelona. Are there full service restaurants that would be good for vegetarians or are tapas our best bet? We'd prefer to spend around 15 maybe 20 euros per person. Any cuisine is ok (possibly an ethnic food restaurant suggestion since we may get tired of 3 straight days of tapas). Any advice you can give would be great. Thanks!
