best room to eat in at Buddakan?

Just curious about the inside of the restaurant...if theres any where to sit thats better than the others, being just 2 people.

The only room I do not recommend eating in is the bar area or right off the bar area. Further back upstairs is darker than the great dining area. But if you get a "rail seat" you have a good view of below you . The library is pretty quiet ,,well it's a library , of course it's quiet. Anyway, its not a bad room. But as LBNJNY prefers the :"great room" or the room with the long dining table , it's a really good feel their. reminds me of the Vanderbilt Mansion's great room. So spacious and magnificent.
Any room you choose it will be Ok ,,just not the bar area.

I strongly prefer the long, beautiful, downstairs dining area.

Now if we eat in the great room, will we be able to have our own table just us two, or will we be crowded with people? I've just been looking at pictures and I don't want to sit with random people.

The "great room" as far as I know, you will be seated with others,, The tables upstairs and in other rooms have tables for two.
