Maria's Taco Shop has some of my favorite al pastor tacos in San Diego.

Is Maria's the one next to the Catamaran delivery entrance (on Mission Blvd)? Aka La Playa or something like that?

Maris's is right next to Robertos. Tiny little place. Right across the street from the rollercoaster.

I just did a little foray on Google maps, and it looks like it is called "Marcy's".

Thanks. I love the place I described above and a nice lady behind the counter is always there. I thought she might be Maria. La Playa Tacos speciality is carnitas burritos!

I'm also a fan of La Playa - it is definitely one of my favorite taco shops in the neighborhood.

Do you know that sweet lady's name? She calls the regulars by name and always remembers us.

La Playa (next to the Catamaran) is head and shoulders better than Roberto's. Try the shrimp burrito! Also, Rubicon is great, as is Thai Village, which is about a mile away.
